ORG Informatics eyes acquisitions

Moumita Bakshi Chatterjee

New Delhi , May 18

ORG Informatics is looking to acquire or pick up minority equity stakes in companies that can offer value-added services in the mobile applications space or services in IT solutions arena, a top official said today.

"The company had recently announced that it would raise $15 million through the process of GDR/FCCB/ADR/preferential allotment. We are talking to bankers and will finalise a lead manager who will do the roadshow with investors. The proceeds will be used towards working capital and an acquisition or strategic investment. For acquisition, we may prefer to go for a cash transaction," said Mr Ajoy Khandheria, Managing Director and CEO of ORG Informatics.

He also said that such acquisitions could happen in the space of value-added services (related to user-generated content, IPTV, SMS, MMS, and downloads).
