Aircel reaches a milestone

Coimbatore, May 29

Mobile phone service provider Aircel Ltd has reached a new landmark by extending its coverage to the 600th town - Senjerimalai in Coimbatore district - on Sunday. Mr K.V.P. Baskar, CEO, Aircel, inaugurated the service.

A release from Aircel said that the company, which has now presence in West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, the North East, Jammu & Kashmir, apart from Tamil Nadu, was focussed on expanding its services to 10 new circles by the end of 2006 to have a national footprint.
