INOX Leisure okays merger

Mumbai, June 24

INOX Leisure Ltd has informed the BSE that its board of directors has approved the acquisition and merger of Calcutta Cine Pvt Ltd with itself. "The proposed transaction is subject to due diligence, final approval by shareholders, creditors and the High Court," the company said. The board has also appointed various intermediaries for the transaction such as legal advisors, valuers and merchant bankers, the company said. Shares of INOX moved up 2.16 per cent to Rs 132.30 on the BSE.
