Hyderabad , Nov. 15

Parametric Technology (India), a software solutions provider, is targeting the growing defence and aerospace segment, following its significant presence in the automotive market.

The Marketing Manager of Parametric Technology (India), Mr Rohit Biddappa, told Business Line that defence and aerospace design and development present new market opportunities for technology solutions providers in India.

"What we have been doing in markets such as the US and Europe partnering and working with companies such as Boeing and British Aeropace, we plan to do in India," he said.

As more global corporations seek to offshore some of the product development work to India, they need to extend similar practices and create an integrated product development approach.
