The Consulate-General of Germany has opened visa application centres at Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi, according to a release. South Indian residents applying for visas to Germany can submit their applications at these centres on weekdays. VFS (India) Pvt Ltd been commissioned by the consulate to operate the centres. Details on visa requirements and regulations can be obtained from www.chennai.diplo.de or www.vfs-germany.co.in.
