Hutch's new offer

Hutch, a leading telecom service provider, announced the facility to book domestic airline tickets with access to flight information through SMS. To provide this exclusive service, Hutch has entered into an alliance with Flightraja.com, a Bangalore-based online travel portal.

According to the Chief Marketing Officer of Hutchison Essar Ltd, Mr Naveen Chopra, the facility is provided in three easy steps. "This is the first time in the world that a service like this is being rolled out," added Mr Vinay Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of Flightraja.

Payments can be made through VISA or Master Credit Cards and the entire transaction is encrypted providing complete safety and security, the Press release said.
