Chief scientist of IBM India

IBM on Monday announced the appointment of Dr C. Mohan as Chief Scientist for IBM India. Dr Mohan will be responsible for the development of IBM's technical community in India, and will represent the community to the government, academia, customers and business partners.

Dr Mohan holds 34 patents to his credit, and was, till recently, at IBM's Almaden Research Centre in San Jose, California, where he worked on database and related topics.
