Christy to shift production base

Mumbai, Feb. 27

UK towel brand Christy is proposing to shift its manufacturing plant to the Welspun group. The Welspun Group had acquired an 85 per cent interest in Christy in July 2006.

Christy's is proposing to close its dyehouse and making-up departments and will transfer the machinery to a specially designed site at Welspun's Anjar facility in Kutch over six months.
