Ordyn gets Rs 60-cr funding

Mumbai, April 9

Ordyn Technologies Pvt Ltd (formerly known as Orion Tele Equipment Pvt Ltd), a telecom equipment company, has secured a Rs 60 crore funding. The deal has been structured by the Investment Banking team of India Infoline.

Aureos Capital, a private equity firm, invested Rs 40 crore and India Infoline has invested the remaining amount. "As a fund we are excited about investment in Ordyn as we believe the capex on telecom is likely to sustain over the next few years," said Mr Balaji Srinivasan, Managing Partner of Aureos India Advisors Ltd. Ordyn will use the proceeds for scaling-up operations, including increased R&D for designing next-generation products and for expanding its international operations.
