HCL Tech, Saudi co in pact

Our Bureau

New Delhi, April 20

HCL Technologies has entered into an alliance with $200 million Saudi Arabian company Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) to implement IT projects in West Asia.

As a part of this agreement, HCL Technologies would train employees of AEC to equip them to offer IT transformation services in areas related to telecom, defence, e-governance, financial services, real estate, education amongst others. However, HCL's global delivery centres would continue to offer its remote infrastructure services. Declining to comment on financial details of the partnership,

Mr Kiran Bhagwanani, Country Manager, India and West Asia, HCL Technologies, said: "While the partnership would be on a revenue sharing basis, the extent to which revenues would be shared would depend on the kind of services that would be shared on various projects."
