Abas soon to launch ERP solutions here

Chennai May 10 Abas Business Software, a German software company, will launch its ERP (enterprise resource planning) solutions in India shortly. The Colombo-based Providence Network & Solutions — Abas' partner in India — will launch the solutions targeted at small and medium-size enterprises, said Dr Vaz Gnanam, Chief Executive Officer, Providence Network.

The 40 million German software provider specialises in ERP and eBusiness solutions that covers all operational aspects of business, he told newspersons.

Mr Peter Forscht, Chief Operating Officer, Abas Business, said clients are free to choose the operating system that is suited to their IT environment as Abas runs under Linux, Unix and Microsoft.
