Spice Tele handset sales double

New Delhi, June 21

Spice Telecom on Wednesday said it had doubled its monthly sales of handsets to 1 lakh units, from 40,000-50,000 units last year. The company will increase its distribution network to 50 from the current 36 State-level distributors and 20,000 retailers. In a statement, the company said that it planned to capture 10 per cent share of the mobile market in India by 2010.
