Oracle University certification

Coimbatore, Aug. 30

Oracle University has awarded certificates to over 42,000 professionals in India, since its inception in 1995. The university offers training and certification programmes by providing Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Retek and Siebel education. In a bid to reach out to the Indian students, it offers these as classroom programmes in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. While such initiatives are aimed at bridging the IT skills gap, it has also designe d the ‘Workforce Development Programme’ for working professionals through a wide education partner network. A release from the company said that over 90,000 Indian students passed the WDP last year (June 2006 – May 2007). —
