Our Bureau New Delhi, Oct. 1 Even as the rush for telecom licences continued today, Bharti Airtel said it welcomed competition in the sector as long as its own spectrum entitlements were met. “We have always welcomed competition. We have no grudge on why people from different industries are applying…everyone has a right to apply. There is a policy, and we are entitled to spectrum. Once what we are entitled to is given, it is Government’s prerogative to usher as much competition as they deem appropriate…We have no objection,” the Bharti Airtel Joint Managing Director, Mr Akhil Gupta, said. “We have no objection to new entrants.
