PGC Infotech launches online video interview portal

Our Bureau

Coimbatore, Feb. 4 PGC Infotech, a division of the Rs 240-crore Prem Group of Companies, has launched an online video interview portal – ‘whereismyboss.com’ - by bringing both job seekers and employers on a virtual platform.

The Chairman of PGC Infotech, Mr D. Prem, said “we use some of the simplest technologies to solve complex recruitment problems”.

PGC’s online technology in conjunction with Boston-headquartered Burning Glass Technologies’ artificial intelligence is expected to help match people with jobs. “It would ensure that distance or time would no longer be an impediment for conducting a one-on-one interview on a real time basis,” Mr Prem said.

The CEO of Burning Glass Technologies, Mr Matt Sigelman, said the company’s ‘intelligent matching technology’ would help speed up the registration process by extracting data from the resume.

“This will increase registration rates and help in quality data capture. In future, this artificial intelligence match technology (for which we have a patent) would be an integral part of whereismyboss.com, alerting candidates of relevant positions and helping employers focus on the right talent.”
