Dish TV launches ‘IPL Pack’

New Delhi, April 24

Cashing in on the DLF Indian Premier League, Dish TV has launched an “IPL Pack”. The offer will allow customers who have subscribed to bouquets that don’t include Set Max, the channel airing the cricket bonanza, to watch the league for a one time price of Rs 120 only. New consumers in the four southern States can get Max for free while the league is on. The special pack is being offered, keeping subscribers of the ‘freedom’ and ‘freedom plus’ packs in mind. “World over special events, especially sports events are sold on DTH platforms on a similar ‘pay per event’ concept. With the introduction of this special pack all Dish TV subscribers on lower tiers can also enjoy Set Max. The channel will be authorised to the subscribers till the series ends on June 1,” said the company. —
