New Products & Services Industry & Economy - Radio/TV Discovery Channel airs new series Hyderabad, May 14 Discovery Channel has started a new programme, titled Fight Quest, on dangerous martial art forms from across the world. The 13-episode series will be aired every Tuesday. "The programme explores some of the most ancient and lethal art forms from around the world. It will highlight the history of each martial art form, the discipline required to perfect the art and the benefits to the body and mind," Mr Rajiv Bakshi, Director, Marketing and Communications, said while addressing a press conference here on Wednesday. The martial art forms covered include Kalarippayatu from India, Kali from the Philippines, Wushu and Sanda from China, Japan's Kyokushin Karate, South Korean martial art form Hapkido, Savate from France, Pencak Silat from Indonesia, boxing from Mexico, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Krav Maga from Israel and Kajukenbo from US. - Our Bureau More Stories on : New Products & Services | Radio/TV | Sports
