7Seas Tech rolls out 7 mobile games

Hyderabad, July 9 Game developer 7Seas Technologies today announced the simultaneous roll out of seven mobile games addressing different segments, while tying up with IMI Mobile and the UK-based Telco Games for marketing.

The Hyderabad-based company has outlined plans to launch a gaming portal www.mobizill.com next month that would allow people to download games directly. 7Seas will shortly offer them through retail outlets.

The Managing Director of 7Seas, Mr L. Maruti Sankar, said the company invested about 18 months of work and over $1 million in developing the games, which include Neetu-The Alien Killer, in which Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra plays the lead character, Derby for racing enthusiasts and Planets of SuDoKu.

The 3D games are targeted at youth with high-end mobile phones including that of Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola. The games can be downloaded through the IMIMobile network. Each game is priced at Rs 99 per game in India
