Iron ore export duty may go up: Mr Ram Vilas Paswan (right), Minister of Chemicals, Fertilisers and Steel, and Mr S.K. Roongta, SAIL Chairman, at a press conference in the Capital on Monday. Mr Paswan said the government was mulling an increase in export duty on iron ore to ensure supplies to domestic steel producers. A correction in steel prices was likely on the back of a softening trend in global markets. - Kamal Narang
