Mergers & Acquisitions Integreon buys Grail Research of Monitor Group Our Bureau Mumbai, Nov. 11 Knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) firm Integreon said that it has acquired Grail Research, the captive unit of the US-based management consulting firm Monitor group, for an undisclosed amount. As part of the arrangement, Integreon has also bagged a five-year deal to provide research services to the Monitor group. The acquisition would enable Integreon to expand its global footprint to China and South Africa. Moreover, it gives the company the capability to services customers in about 35 different languages apart from English Mr Colim Gounden, Founder & CEO of Grail Research, would join Integreon as its Chief Marketing Officer while the entire team at Grail would be retained, Mr Lokendra Tomar, Chief Operating Officer, APAC (Asia-Pacific) of Integreon, told newspersons. Grail services customers in the areas of market research, decision support and competitive intelligence. Apart from providing services to Monitor, the company also counts firms such as Microsoft and Virgin among its customers. It is expected to end this fiscal with revenues of around $80 million Till date, Grail, which currently has 200 employees on its rolls, has executed 25 projects across 42 industries for 35 customers.
