Chennai , June 4

ICICI Bank and Aircel on Friday launched co-branded credit cards for Aircel's mobile phone subscribers in Chennai.

Aircel's subscribers of over a year's standing would be eligible for the cards. ICICI Bank's officials present at the launch said the first year's annual fee on the card had been waived. The waiver is limited to a year.

Subscribers to the card would be given the option of giving the bank a standing instruction to automatically pay Aircel bills. The card comes with insurance benefits up to Rs 10 lakh.

The Chennai launch of the card follows the launches in other parts of Tamil Nadu.
