Rockwool India Group, a subsidiary of Rockwool International A/S, Denmark, today highlighted the importance of superior insulation solutions for power plants.
Taking part in the CII Power Plant Summit here today, Mr Samson Suresh, General Manger of Rockwool India & Middle East Group, in a statement said Rockwool’s insulation solutions could save coal consumption in power generation industries.
The ROCKWOOL group manufactures insulation solutions developed from experience of more than 75 years around the world. It has bought this technology and experience in India with a facility at Dahej, Gujarat.
“We are not asking the industrialists to do anything different or invest billions of dollars on new technology on overseas company but undergo a small operation of converting to superior insulation solutions that could retain the heat energy generated in the plant rather than allowing it to be dissipated in the environment," he said.
