One of the biggest attractions this year is the Delhi Auto Expo which kicks off in February. For years, this biennial event was hosted at Pragati Maidan but moved for the first time to Greater Noida in 2014. Given the huge distance to be travelled, there were concerns about a fall in the number of visitors at the new venue. Nothing of the kind happened and the organisers are gearing up for the Expo with a lot more confidence this time around. Even while the travel to Greater Noida could be a bit of a drag, the facilities there are a lot better than Pragati Maidan which just could not cope with the huge crowds.
