Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) on Thursday launched an upgraded version of it’s the 125cc CB Shine. The new model, chastened CB Shine SP, will be offered in three variants priced between ₹59,900 and ₹64,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new model comes with a five-speed gearbox and features a longer wheel-base with tubeless tyres, higher ground clearance, longer seats and five-step adjustable suspensions to provide comfort for the rider and the pillion, irrespective of the road conditions, the company said.
Honda is claiming a mileage of 65kmpl on the new model.
“Though CB Shine enjoys 46 per cent market share, our plan is to further strengthen Honda’s leadership position in 125CC segment,” YS Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing, HSMI, said.
