Karnataka: Adulterated milk seized

BANGALORE: About 32,000 litres of adulterated milk was seized here, when the police and civic health officers made a swoop on nine trucks arriving from Erode in Tamil Nadu.

The trucks were carrying milk adulterated with baking soda. Adulterated milk was sold to restaurants in the city at a rate of Rs 10 per litre, officials said.
