Mumbai , Oct. 6

PATCHI, a premium Lebanese chocolate brand, has been formally launched in Mumbai.

The brand, which was established in Beirut in 1974, set up a showroom in Mumbai's Crossroads Mall in July, and is now being launched in Delhi and Kolkata, as well. The Patchi range in India includes the classic, deluxe, baby, wedding and sugar-free and diet chocolates, which come in milk, dark and white choices in hazelnut, almond, pistachio and rice crisp flavours. Specially crafted porcelain, crystal and silver gift articles from brands such as Christian Dior, Cristal de Sevres, Rosenthal, Lalique, Bvlgari and Ragaska will also be made available, alongside tableware, artificial flower arrangements and other decorative items. The brand has registered "significant sales" through corporate gifting orders for the last year when it was being imported by Mumbai-based Brook Trading Company, according to Mr Chetan Gokal, Country Head, Patchi.
