East West Airlines to resume from Feb 28

EAST West Airlines, which had suspended operations almost a decade ago, plans to restart its services on February 28, according to Mr A. Nasir, Chairman, East West Airlines, a division of East West Travel & Trade Links Ltd.

Mr Nasir, a Bahrain-based NRI, said that negotiations were on with the two aircraft manufacturers for the purchase of 11 aircraft. The initial investment would be around Rs 200 crore.
