IT event in Coimbatore

COIMBATORE: The GKD Matriculation Higher Secondary School, in association with compu.gen, is organising a three-day IT event - eVidhya - between January 23 and 26.

About 60-odd projects, focusing on various functions and use of modern technology covering a range of services such as online banking, global positioning, library management, computer graphics in film and photography industry, digital identity cards, etc., are to be showcased at the event.

The event is to be inaugurated by the Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner, Dr D. Karthikeyan.
