FICCI team to visit Oman, UAE

New Delhi , March 4

A delegation of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is visiting Oman and UAE from March 5-10.

Dr A.C. Muthiah, past President, FICCI and the Chairman of India-UAE joint business council (JBC) will lead a 19 member delegation to UAE, while Mr Pradip Madhavji, Chairman India-Oman JBC will lead a 18-member business delegation to Oman.

An official delegation led by Mr Om Prakash Chautala, Chief Minister of Haryana, along with senior officials from the State Government, will accompany the FICCI business delegation to the two countries. According to a FICCI release, the visit is being considered significant, as it would go a long way in promoting India as a business destination.

The FICCI delegation will consist of representatives from diverse sectors such as information and communication technology, chemicals and petrochemicals, biotechnology, fertilisers, oil and gas, engineering, polymers, tourism, and engineering consultancy.
