New Delhi , March 10 BUSINESS process outsourcing (BPO) firms can now employ a software solution that claims to help them utilise their workforce optimally. Software solutions provider Servion Global Solutions on Wednesday announced a strategic partnership with the US-based Blue Pumpkin Software Inc that claims to be an industry leader in enterprise workforce optimisation solutions for the BPO sector. "Contact centres need to work smart and BPO companies need to ensure optimal utilisation of their workforce. That, in turn, improves customer service and profitability of these centres," Servion Executive Vice-Chairman, Mr Baskar Subramanian, told newspersons here. Servion has received orders from leading call centres such as MsourcE (Bangalore), HCL (Delhi) and Intelenet (Mumbai) for workforce optimisation products. It will offer Blue Pumpkin solutions to augment the performance levels of these organisations, he said. The Blue Pumpkin Chairman, Mr Doron Aspitz, said that call centres had now begun to understand the benefits of optimising people-processes internally. "We already have over 1,000 clients. This partnership with Servion will help us cater to the rapidly expanding BPO service sector in the country," Mr Aspitz said.
