Advertising St. Luke's to handle Godrej's `Perfect Home' furniture brand Purvita Chatterjee
Mumbai , April 6 GODREJ & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd has appointed St. Luke's Advertising for its Godrej Perfect Home brand of home furniture. Speaking to Business Line, Mr A.S. Mathur, Chief Operating Officer, Godrej & Boyce, said: "We expect the home furniture account between Rs 3-4 crore and St. Luke's advertising will be handling the brand." Offering a range of products under its home furniture brand, Godrej Perfect Home would comprise bedroom, living and dining room sets. It would also include kitchen and children's room furniture. Mr Praveen Kenneth, Managing Director, St. Luke's advertising, said: "We would be building the campaign based on the trust and quality the Godrej brand already enjoys. Being an old brand, consumers find Godrej to be dependable and we intend focussing on that aspect of the brand." The agency has yet to develop a baseline for the brand. Meanwhile, Godrej has already appointed AMO advertising for its office furniture brand Formula S. "We intend having similar ad spends for both the home and office furniture brands," says Mr Mathur. Godrej has already released ads for its Formula S brand carrying the baseline, "Many Happy returns". Last year, the company clubbed its office and home furniture offerings under a single division Furniture and Interiors. Previously, the company had separate divisions under Store Well and Office Furniture. "We realised our consumers wanted a single point of contact for their home and office furniture requirements. There have been realignments in the back end operations in terms of manufacturing facilities to save on cost as well," says Mr Mathur.
