KSEB allowed to lay cables

Our Bureau

KOCHI: The City Police has granted permission to the Kerala State Electricity Board to lay cables from Perumanoor Junction to Marine Drive on the basis of an agreement that the work should be carried out round the clock except for cable pulling from April 25 onwards.

The decision to start the cable laying work was taken on the basis of talks held between the City Police Commissioner and the senior officials of the KSEB.

The Commissioner had revoked the permission to lay cables last week after the Board failed to take up the cable laying work according to the schedule.

In the recent meeting, the KSEB officials had agreed to carry out the work without any delay from April 25.
