`Dhatu Ratna' title conferred on Nanalal Parikh

Mumbai , April 29

THE president and board of directors of Bombay Metal Exchange and the Vice-Chairman and board of trustees of the Bombay Metal Exchange Charitable Trust conferred the `Dhatu Ratna' title on Mr Surendrabhai Nanalal Parikh.

This was in recognition of his "excellent, dedicated, glorious, meticulous and outstanding" services of more than five decades to the Bombay Metal Exchange Ltd

He was also the Chairman of The Bombay Metal Exchange Charitable Trust for over two decades.

This is the first ever title conferred by BMEduring its 70 years of establishment.

The award was presented at a function arranged at Y.B. Chavan Auditorium recently.
