BusinessObjects, in pact with Wipro Infotech

Hyderabad , May 17

BUSINESSOBJECTS, a provider of business intelligence (BI) products and solutions, has announced its partnership with Wipro Infotech, which seeks to build on a long-standing systems integrator agreement to provide clients with business intelligence solutions.

This partnership strengthens Wipro's position in the rapidly growing business intelligence market, by providing strategic advisory and implementation services. The BI revenue is rapidly growing and is expected to touch revenues of $ 30 million in 2005 according to Frost & Sullivan study in India.

The Business Development Director, BusinessObjects India, Mr Sanjay Deshmukh, in a statement said, "BusinessObjectswill leverage Wipro Infotech's expertise to reinforce its position in the market place."

The Vice-President, Wipro Infotech, Mr Rajat Mathur, said, "We are seeing increasing growth in BI and view BusinessObjects technology solutions as an important step in this evolving market."
