UNICHEM Laboratories Ltd, a Mumbai based Rs 475-crore pharmaceutical company, has received ISO 9001 & 14001 certificates.

Dr Prakash Mody, Chairman And Managing Director of the company, who received the certificate from Mr B. Saraswat, head of Lloyd Registrar Quality Assurance (LRQA), said that with the ISO certificates, the company would be able to enhance process efficiencies, reduce consumption of energy and other resources and lower environmental liability and risk. This will also help in maintaining consistent compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, preventing pollution and reducing waste.
