Standards & Benchmarks Adamya protocol gets Bluetooth certification Our Bureau
Bangalore , June 15 ADAMYA Computing Technologies, the developer of wireless technology solutions, has received the Bluetooth Qualification Body (BQB) 1.2 certification for its Bluetooth protocol stack C-Blue. BQB is the designated body, set up by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) to certify the Bluetooth components such as the chips and the stack and end-user products. The BQB 1.2 is the latest standards set by the Bluetooth SIG. Mr T.J. Yatheendranath, Chairman and CEO, Adamya, said his company was the first Indian firm and one of the few global firms to get the BQB 1.2 certification. "The significance of this certification ensures we are on par with the latest happenings in the Bluetooth field," Mr Yatheendranath said adding that the company had already signed up with two clients for developing applications on C-Blue. Adamya's Bluetooth applications include hi-fi stereo systems, printing solutions for Centronix and USB, headset and hands-free car kits of the auto industry among others. Its clientele, among others, include companies such as Optimize, Billionton and Tecom.
