General Insurance Link-K Broker unveils `family medical plan' in Coimbatore Our Bureau
Coimbatore , June 17 LINK-K Insurance Broker Company (P) Ltd has introduced a modified medical insurance plan - `Link-K Family Medical Plan'. Unveiling the product conceived in association with United India Insurance Company, the broking firm's Managing Director, Mr Pa. Mohankumar, said the insured would have the option to opt out of domiciliary hospitalisation under this scheme and enjoy a reduction in premium. Further, any claim under `additional benefit', he said, would be covered if it had been incurred reasonably. A feature of the medical plan was extending the cover to pre-existing illness. The extension could be had only after 24 months of claim-free insurance and by paying 25 per cent additional premium.
