CanBank gesture to students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The social banking unit of Canara Bank, Thiruvananthapuram Circle, has donated books and uniform to 164 students belonging to two different schools in the district.

In separate functions held here, Mr T. Sreekanthan, Divisional Manager, Canara Bank, handed over uniform and stationery to 105 students of the Government Upper Primary School, Thampanoor, in the city and the Government Lower Primary School in Aruvikkara in the suburbs. Teachers, members of respective Parent-Teacher Associations and people's representatives attended the two functions, a spokesman of the banks said here.
