PCS Ind cuts PC prices by 4%

Our Bureau

NEW DELHI: PCS Industries has said it would not await the result of the excise duty anomaly issue, and announced a four-per cent reduction in its PC prices.

"The company has decided to take a hit on its bottom line to implement this price cut. We feel that the goodwill and confidence of our customers and channel partners will offset this temporary hit," the PCS Industries Director, Mr B.N. Agarwal, said in a statement.

The company had hoped that the Budget would enable it to give a much higher cost benefit to customers. "However, due to the Budget anomaly our input costs have remained the same in spite of the exemption of excise duty," he said.
