BANGALORE: Five management institutes from the country have come together to form a consortium to work towards enhancing the quality of management education in India.

They have formed the `Consortium of Autonomous Business Schools' (CABS), which will encourage faculty exchange, student exchange, sharing of faculty resources, collaborated research, publications and case development.

An MoU to this effect was signed by the heads of the Xavier Institute of Management of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore; Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar; NMIMS, Mumbai; TAPMI, Manipal; and Welingkar Institute, Mumbai.

According to a press release issued here, though five institutes now form CABS, other colleges can also join the consortium.
