Coimbatore to host poultry expo

Coimbatore , Aug 3

POULTRY Expo 2004, the national exhibition and conference on poultry, will be held in Coimbatore this week.

The exhibition is being hosted by Hyderabad-based poultry business publication Poultry Fortune, owned by NRS Publications.

According to the Convener of the expo and Editor of Poultry Fortune, Mr M.A. Nazeer, leading manufacturers and suppliers of products used by the poultry sector from across the country and abroad will display their products at the two-day conference to be held on August 5 and 6 at the Suguna Auditorium here. Over 80 exhibitors would display their wares at the expo.

Fifteen poultry scientists and experts will participate in the conference, to be held on August 6, on the theme `quality in poultry products to meet global competition.'

The conference will be attended by Ms Neerja Rajkumar, Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, and Mr K. Deenabandu, Commissioner/Director, Veterinary Services, Tamil Nadu.
