CLB clears 248 cases

NEW DELHI: IN June, the regional benches of the Company Law Board (CLB) passed orders regarding payment of deposits in the case of 69 applications under Section 58A of the Companies Act, 1956 and Section 45QA(2) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.

According to an official communiqué, "Under other Sections of the Companies Act, 179 applications were disposed of." Also, the Investor Protection Cell settled 272 cases in the same period.
