ISB seminar in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: An International Conference "Will the 21st century belong to China and India" is being organised by the Indian School of Business (ISB) Economic Forum, on August 14, at the ISB campus, Hyderabad.

The conference is a part of the series that ISB is arranging to stimulate debate on emerging markets. It will provide a forum to interact with some eminent professionals from academia and industry both from India and abroad.

The panel of speakers include Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission; Dr Raghuram Rajan, Economic Counsellor and Director, IMF; Mr Jairam Ramesh, Secretary of the Economic Affairs Department of the Congress Party in New Delhi; Mr Tarun Khanna from Harvard Business School; Mr N.J. Sheth from Tata Economic Consulting Services; Mr Sanjeev Sanyal from Deutsche Bank, Singapore; Mr Pramath Sinha from McKinsey, Mr Peter Tan, Vice-President, McDonalds, Head of Asia, and Mr Vinod Dasari, Cummins India.

A delegation from China is also expected to participate, according to an ISB release.
