Raise bonus limit: KSRTC staff

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Joint Action Council of employees of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) staged a demonstration in front of the office of the Managing Director Corporation here on Thursday demanding a higher bonus limit.

Inaugurating the proceedings, Mr P. K. Gurudasan, State General Secretary of CITU, the parent body, warned the management of serious consequences if it continued to maintain a negative attitude towards the legitimate demands of workers.

The day also saw employees staging holding out protest demonstrations in front of KSRTC depot gates in all districts. The Joint Action Council has since announced an indefinite strike from November 7.
