UTI products thru post offices

HYDERABAD: In Andhra Pradesh, six post offices (three in Hyderabad, two in Visakhapatnam and one in Vijayawada) have been identified to distribute UTI Mutual Fund products. AMFI qualified and trained officials will man the investment desk to help the public.

The Department of Posts and UTI Mutual Fund announced a tie-up to distribute products through specific post offices in the country. The Union Finance Minister and the Communications Minister launched the scheme in New Delhi on September 14.

The selected post offices will retail five UTI Mutual Fund products - UTI children's career balanced plan and bond plan, Mahila Unit scheme, Unit Linked Insurance Plan, Mastershare and Variable Investment Scheme, according to a press release from the AP Circle, Hyderabad.
