LIC agents' dharna today

MUMBAI: Life Insurance Agents' Federation of India, an organisation that claims to represent over 10 lakh insurance agents, will stage a dharna before `Yogakshema', the head office of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on Wednesday.

A press release issued by the organisation said here that the agitation was planned to pressure the `apathetic' LIC management to agree to a slew of its demands, including higher mediclaim cover and several welfare measures.
