Our Bureau

MANGALORE: The Director of Karnataka Bank Ltd, Mr I. Jagdish Rao, has called upon inspecting officials to understand their role well and capture the overall performance of the branch to present it to the controlling office/board.

Inaugurating a two-day seminar on `Inspection and Audit' at the bank's staff training college in Mangalore on Monday, he said inspecting officials are the real financial doctors in view of their physical presence at the branches. "There they can study the health of the branch by holding the pulse properly," he said.

Thirty-four Inspecting Officials attended the seminar.

Mr K. Venkataramana Tunga, Deputy General Manager (Inspection and Audit), welcomed the gathering. Mr K. Shrinivas, Assistant General Manager, proposed a vote of thanks.
