AP Paper Mills expansion

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills Ltd has informed bourses that the company's board, at a meeting held on October 6, has approved the revised project cost of mill development plan amounting to Rs 635 crore against Rs 554 crore approved earlier.

The revision was mainly due to increase in the pulp production capacity from 45 tonnes per day (tpd) to 550 tpd. The company has also received a letter from DEG of Germany sanctioning a term loan of $15 million as well as equity participation of $3 million for part-financing the MDP. This was approved by the board.
