Land for Thiruvananthapuram airport expansion

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Development Committee has conveyed to the State Government its willingness to hand over 27 acres of land for future expansion programme.

Efforts to acquire the land will be launched as soon as work on expansion of the terminal gets under way, an official spokesman quoted Mr M. V. Raghavan, Minister for Co-operation, who is also the Chairman of the Airport Development Society, as saying.
