IP-based SAN tool

BANGALORE: American Mega Trends has launched StorTrends iTX, an Internet protocol-based storage area network solution and STRIX Enterprise Wireless local area network system.

StorTrends iTX enables users to implement a cost effective hybrid SAN and NAS system, which can be used by enterprises in India, which have local and wide area networks, said Mr Jayaram Krishnan, CEO and Director, American Mega Trends, India.

The company is targeting revenue of Rs 5 crore in the first year from IP SAN solution, Mr Jayaram said in a statement. The company has partnered with Strix Systems to distribute their enterprise wireless LAN system.
